I am a fourth-year medical student hailing from an upper middle class, nuclear family with liberal values. I will be starting my job as a pediatrics resident after graduating medical school next year. I was born in Kolkata and raised in New Jersey. My father is a test automation lead and my mother is a high school biology teacher. I am fluent in Bengali as well as connected to my culture. I am trained in Hindustani classical music, which is one of my passions. One thing that I am looking for in a life partner is that he is connected to his culture, but grew up in the USA as I am a modern woman. Being a physician is not a must, but is ideal as I would love to have a life partner who understands my line of work and appreciates my career aspirations.
My daughter completed her graduation from South East Missouri State University. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree at Georgia Southern University, Savannah. We come from a middle class, nuclear family background with liberal values.
