Our daughter has a Govt. Fellowship for Integrated research Program and also CSIR fellowship, currently working as researcher in Delhi NCR.
Education - DPS Noida, Delhi University, JNCASR (associated with IISc, Bangalore).
She is interested in a career in Research & Academics. However, other than science and technology, she is interested in many diverse subjects such as history, literature, economics, website design and digital marketing.
Enjoys reading, cooking, trekking, music, watching movies, mentoring underprivileged school kids & meditation.
Has a younger sister, currently studying for her MBA degree after working in Mumbai before Covid-19 period.
Parents have engineering-management background and are currently involved in promoting sustainable construction projects throughout the country. Father, an IIT Kanpur graduate, left IIM Ahmedabad to become an entrepreneur in Punjab during period of peak terrorism. Mother, MBA, left TCS after birth of second child, now works part time with her spouse . Father has one sibling, elder sister, a Professor in IIT Delhi, married to an IAS officer (now retired). Mother has an older brother, in petro-chem industry, currently based in Abu Dhabi.
We have been in Noida since last 28 years, Father\'s family, originally from East Bengal, but settled in West Bengal before partition. Mother is probasi bengali (formerly Chatterjee), from Lucknow.
Having grown up in a joint family, our daughter is close to her numerous old and young relatives, near & far. She is warm, caring and generous, with special empathy towards the elderly and the underprivileged, she can make friends easily with all age groups but is equally happy to be just by herself.
